So for the past 2 weeks(I think it's been that long) I've been learning C# and the Unity engine, along with minor Blender stuff,
all to create a particular game for personal purposes.
This is Dungeon Hunter, which I know is the same name as some smartphone games and whatnot.
I just felt that this name described the game the most, so I used it temporarily.
(if you come up with a good name for it, by all means, gimme a shout)
The game is set in an urban-ish post-semi-apocalyptic future with an extremely multi-cultural population.
You play as one among a large number of hunters, who's job is basically to hunt and scavenge for all kinds of things.
The game's basics: You create your hunter(character), you explore dungeons(and possibly other places as I develop the game),
sell whatever you find, and use what you earn to get stronger in several ways.
It is based heavily on an old PlayStation1 game called Battle Hunter, released in Japan in 1999 and NA/EU in 2001.(you can google it if you want)
It's one of my favorite games of all times so I figured I'd make a modernized-ish patchable version of it with even the possibility for online multiplayer.
(the original game had local hotseat multiplayer up to 4 players, cool huh)
Anyway I thought I'd make a post in advance here, will post here whenever I have more to show.
Here's a screenshot of how it works so far. (extremely simple)
(also yes I know I stole a model from Summoners War for testing purposes, sue me)
Also I'm looking for anyone who wants to help out on this project, mainly any modeler at the moment.
I need models with similar style to Summoners War, but obviously I can't use their models.
