Grass / Fire
Hands down one of the best typings in the game which for some reason has no Pokemon with the typing. Let's take a look at why it's so good.
- Nails Water, Rock, Ground, Grass, Steel, Ice, and Bug types super effectively with its STAB attacks. This effectively makes it the only Fire type to have a super effective STAB attack against Rotom-W.
- The types are complementary defensively, making the Pokemon only weak to Poison, Flying, and Rock type attacks. While gaining important neutral / resisted hits.
- Fantastic under weather; with the Sun powering STAB Fire attacks and making the amazing STAB Solar Beam a one turn attack.
- With the great support movepool that most Fire and Grass Pokemon usually have (Synthesis, Morning Sun, Leech Seed, Will O Wisp, Stun Spore, Spore, Sleep Powder, Aromatherapy, etc) there will more than likely be quite a bit of utility on whatever Pokemon gets this typing.
The only deciding factor in whether a Pokemon will be utterly fantastic with this typing or not will more than likely entirely depend on stat distribution.
More than likely however it will be one of the best types in Pokemon if a Pokemon with this typing is ever released.
