Unown Type: Psychic Abilities: Levitate Stats:HP: 48 Attack: 72 Defense: 48 Special Attack: 72 Special Defense: 48 Speed: 48 Description: Unown was already an unfortunately limited Pokemon to begin with; only having access to Hidden Power as a move, plus below average stats really hurt it. It's taken yet another blow in Generation Six due to the nerfing of Hidden Power to 60 Base Power. It's still a cute little Pokemon, but only use as a Gimmick. Set #1: Choice Specs EVs: 252 HP, 252 SpA, 4 Spe Nature: Modest (+ SpA, - Atk) Item: Choice Specs Ability: Levitate Moves: Hidden Power (Psychic) / Hidden Power (Ice) / Hidden Power (Fire) Set Description: There's really not much Unown can do bar fire off Specs boosted Hidden Powers. Whatever HP type you use depends on the coverage you need; Psychic is STAB, and Ice / Fire are the more reliable HP types. Switch it in on a predicted Ground type move or a move in which you'll know he can take. Speed EVs aren't necessary because you won't be outspeeding anything with 48 base speed. Other Options: Choice Scarf is plausible but the lack of power would be sorely noted. There's really no point to using any other item that isn't a gimmick on Unown.
